Thanksgiving break extension petition by the students at Pennsylvania State College, 1941 November 23.

The students at Penn State submitted this petition with about 3,900 signatures for an extension of the Thanksgiving holiday in recognition of winning the football game against the University of Pittsburgh, the first victory over that team in twenty-two years. President Ralph D. Hetzel approved the holiday.
